Hahahaha love that last pic 'when the party was over'!!!

What a fantastic tale Linc - super proud of you mate. Any chance this three-part story could be translated into a cinematic trilogy? X

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job was done by everyone involved in the music at the Olympics. Im actually 52 but love all dance and club music, most especially trance, and loved the athletes parade, soo uplifting! Loving 'The Road goes on forever', and like the earlier comment, when that came on for the 60 second countdown, a little shiver of excitement and anticipation ran up my spine, I could tell it was going to be epic! And it was!! And all done by a cardiff boy as well!! Well done Lincoln, outstanding!!

Hey there, Loved reading through this blog. I was one of the 1000 drummers and marshalls, and wasn't aware of your involvement until after the show when I downloaded the Isles of Wonder album from itunes. Many of us were tasked to drum along to your tunes and remixes as the athlete's came in to the stadium. As an Underworld fan, I recognised some of the tracks but loved the versions of Rez, Dark and Long and Always Loved a Film. Your own pieces were perfectly pitched, uplifting and energetic as was needed for the occasion (which helped us as we were moving around for the whole of the parade). My particular favourite was the Abide with me mix for the Akram Khan dance sequence: the way that heart beat rhythm filled the stadium was incredibly powerful. Still constantly playing the album at every opportunity, so thanks for doing such an awesome job!

Hello mate, as a long term d&b fan (38 years old!) it makes me so proud that one of our little gang has reached the point where they are an integral part of a huge event that is specifically designed to represent who we are as a nation. In a way its a shame that most (regular) people will never realise your input into the ceremony, but that reflects the nature of our scene a bit - occasionally sticking our nose above the parapet, but basically staying in the shadows! Massive congratulations, low bow.

That was a wonderful read and has just added to the excitement I felt on the night.

Thank you all involved for making the only Olympic opening ceremony, the rest are just, well like the closing ceremony. I can say that, I know you guys can't comment.

Meanwhile the Abide with me dance section I have ripped and am posting on my twitter/Facebookbook/google+ feed everytime terrorists strike BECAUSE the creators of that gave us all a weapon to fling back at terrorists... They are just Dust of Nothing, we, are culture and are love is forever.
